Just been for my daily walk with my little dog. The snow doesn't look as pretty now that it's starting to melt. Everything is starting to look grey, dirty and tired.
I think I'll take advantage of the log fire and stay indoors. I need to start making more items for my etsy shop that I'm opening soon so I've got plenty of things to do to keep me warm. I'm going to make some more tea cups and cushions.

Just sold another tea-cup and a framed collage that I made. Customers of Vintage Blue in Ledbury have bought them for christmas presents. I'm really pleased so now I'm going to take advantage of being snowed in, and will start making another tea-cup.

Just been for a walk in the snow with my little dog. Perfect weather for winter bathers!! The park looks like a winter wonderland - nature's own xmas decorations. Hoar frost, ice droplets and shimmering cobwebs on the trees. Who needs artificial lights and tinsel when nature does it so perfectly!xx

I did my first ever stall at Leominster Victorian Street Market on Saturday 11th December and it was really successful! These are some of the photos I took of my stall showing all of the goodies I had made to sell. I had lots of positive comments and one gentleman even said that my stall was his favourite out of the whole market!! I sold quite a lot of items which I was really pleased about especially in the financial climate. There was a lovely christmassy atmosphere and I enjoyed having mince pies and mulled wine (purely to keep out the cold of course!!).
I will definitely be doing a stall again, so watch this space for details of upcoming events.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!!xxxx

I'm so excited about doing my first ever stall at Leominster Victorian Street Market. Hopefully the weather will be okay (no snowstorms pleeeease!!!) A lovely christmas atmosphere is just what everybody needs with the weather and financial climate. Bring on the hot chestnuts, baked potatoes and mulled wine!!
I've made the most of being snowed in and have been sewing like crazy! - my machine is hot to the touch! My studio is a sea of fabric scraps, buttons, glue, glittery paper, vintage photos and ribbon - pure heaven! Like a kid in a candy store!!!

Just received more items I've made for my christmas stall. High quality coasters with photos of the different artworks I've made during the year. They look really lovely quality and the images have come out well. I'm really pleased with them. They'll definitely be going on my stall to sell.

A beautiful autumnal day with a slight nip in the air! The cooler weather is a reminder that Christmas is around the corner, so with that in mind I'm making some christmas decorations and tags using collage and photos that I've taken, so each decoration will be unique. What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than glueing, sticking papers and getting covered in sparkly bits! Bliss!!

Christmas Goodies!!

Just received a calendar I've designed, by post. It features photos of different collages I've made. I'm really pleased with how it looks. Now all I've got to do is wrap it ready for a christmas present.

This a shop that has recently opened in the lovely market town of Ledbury called Vintage Blue. Run by owner Michelle it is full of gorgeous vintage items for the home. Michelle is friendly and she herself makes jewellery and items for the home. I am pleased to say that some of my artwork is in her shop.

This is one of my collages hanging on the wall behind a decorated mannequin.
A tea-cup I made nestles on a shelf amongst pretty vintage pieces.

Some cards I have made are displayed in a vintage suitcase.

the emerald grove, malvern

A lovely shop/gallery in the heart of the malvern hills where you will find gorgeous handmade goodies from lots of different local artists. I'm happy to say that my work is also on display there which is very exciting for me as I'm just starting out as a bona fida artist! Hopefully this beautiful weather will stay with us and the tourists will be out in droves. If you're in the area check it out. It's full of fabulous creations and Julie who owns the shop is really friendly. Enjoy x
